A Barrel of Monkeys Challenge #2-Dog Pull Toy

Yay!!! Challenge #2!

These challenges are based on children's toys, activities and games.

For this month (Mar 15th-Ap 14th) the toy is a Dog Pull Toy! So cute!!

Here's my project.

...and I have a new design team member,

Welcome Diane

Top 3 for Challenge #1

are

#1 Beverly

#4 Diane

#5 Marina

Thanks to EVERYONE who participated. I wanted to choose ALL of you, but had to narrow it down to 3. But, please know that I appreciate each one of you who played along for the first challenge!!!

Now, get your thinking cap on and get creative for challenge #2!!!

We HAVE to be able to see HOW the children's dog pull toy inspired your creation.

1. PLEASE do not back-link. Your projects MUST be new.

2. You can create ANY kind of craft project you like.

3. Please, if it is unclear how you were inspired by the photo, let us know.

4. You can enter each challenge up to 5 times, using different projects.

5. Challenge will be posted in the middle of the month, on the 15th.

6. This challenge is just for FUN!! So, above all, have fun!

*Please note, entries that do not follow the requirements or entries that do not link back to the blog challenge post will not be chosen as a favorite and may be removed.

Challenge begins on MARCH 15th at 12 AM and ends on APRIL 14th at 9 PM. (Newfoundland time)

*I apologize for not having a photo linky for you, but I'm working on trying to get one!

I have many ideas for challenges, but if you have some also, please comment with your ideas!!!!

  1. Terrific picks for recognition! Congrats, gals! Diane and Deanne--your cards are super cute! Both are charming and such creative interpretations of the doggie pull-along toy!! This one in the photo is different than our childhood one that was shared (my mom had all 3 of us within 4 years and 2 months after I was born) which had a lot of yellow whereas this one has red. That red is calling to me. Terrific projects!

  2. I still have my pull dog. I'd post a pic of it here (if photos could be attached to comments). It's in rough shape (well-loved) but it's a classic. I cannot WAIT to play along here. I'll be around soon. Out of town now, but back in my craft room soon. What a DARLING idea and inspiration for a challenge.
